04 / OUR STORY

Built by musicians.
Made for DJs.

We’re two lifelong musicians who love DJing, technology and finding ways to make the gear we use better.

It started when one of us moved from a Denon Prime 4+ to the XDJ-1000MK2 and missed controlling loops with a physical encoder. Inspired by other community firmware projects, we experimented with REV and VINYL before finding a practical solution using TAG and the encoder.

From there, we added three-band waveforms, enhanced the PERFORM tab, worked on DSP improvements and expanded support for compatible WAV headers.

Then we started asking a different question: how do we become better DJs? What happens when we stop looking at the screen and trust our ears? That thinking led to Ghost Mode and the option to hide track information during playback.

Our goal is simple: make the player more intuitive, give DJs more choice, and keep the focus on the music.

THE PEOPLE

Two lifelong musicians, working in software, building the tools we wanted to play with.
